Hello Families: Exciting things are happening at St. Mary of the Hills School! The CYO basketball league is underway and the boys have been practicing hard with Coach A. Band and piano lessons have begun and our cheerleading team will begin next week. We will be offering many more activities soon.
Dear Parents and Guardians: This week we had our first field trip of the year. Kindergarten, First and Second grades visited Ward Berry Farm. It was a great opportunity for fun and learning. Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who volunteered to chaperone. Usually, each grade has at least one field trip, so look forward to many other classes going on field trips for fun and learning outside of the classroom.
Dear Parents and Guardians: Fall is a wonderful time of year. It's a time to recognize the change of seasons, enjoy the chill in the air, and all of the fun fall activities we have planned for our school community. It is a time to enjoy the colorful leaves and all of the beauty God has created for us.
Dear Parents and Guardians: It's hard to believe that we have already begun our second month of school. Our students have settled into their routines and have been working hard. On Thursday, all of our students joined Father Bennett outside for the Blessing of the Animals. Many children brought a photo of their special pet to be blessed, and there were a few pets that visited school today, including my dog, Gidget. A special thank you to Father Bennett for taking the time to spend with the children and animals on this special day. We ended our week with a beautiful Mass hosted by the 7th- grade class. A special thank you to the 7th -grade students and Mrs. McNally for preparing the students so well.
