Dear St. Mary of the Hills Family, This Sunday, April 2nd is the celebration of Palm Sunday, and it marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred time of the year for Christians, and celebrates Jesus entering Jerusalem.
Dear St. Mary of the Hills Family, Thank you to all of the families who support Catholic education and have re-enrolled at St. Mary of the Hills for the 2023-2024 school year. Our classes are filling up and we encourage you to invite members of your family, friends, and community to visit our school during this time of enrollment. We are grateful for your support as we move our students toward a future of spiritual growth, academic achievement, and social development in a safe and nurturing environment.
St. Mary of the Hills Saints are currently 15-1! Saints came in 1st place in SSPSL CYO! Coach A, All-Star Head Coach winner of All-Star Game accompanied by three St. Mary’s All-Star players (the most sent to the All-Star Game)--Dylan Raffle, Tim O’Sullivan, and Connor Finn.
Dear Parents and Guardians, It's hard to believe that we are already halfway through the month of March. This is a busy time of year at St. Mary of the Hills with enrollment and re-enrollment. If you haven't already re-enrolled your child, we ask that you please take care of this as soon as possible. We do have a wait list for several grades, and there are many new parents interested in enrolling their child/children in our school.
Dear Parents and Guardians, On Friday, students, faculty, and staff gathered together and attended Mass which was hosted by the third-grade class. They showed their talents with their reading and singing. Thank you to Miss O' Leary for preparing her students so well.
Dear Parents and Guardians, During this holy Lenten season, we take time to reflect on our Lenten devotions and the mercy of God. This is a wonderful time to spend thanking Jesus for his sacrifice and mercy. Many of the students have asked about the purpose of Lent. It's more than a tradition or ritual. Lent is a time of spiritual renewal and purification that ultimately leads us to Jesus. It is a time of prayer and reaching out to others and reflecting on what is truly important in our lives.
